Photoshop retouching before and after example

This is a high school senior boy that I photographed back in my film days. At that time I would scan the film and retouch it in an Adobe program called Photoshop Elements. Below is a video showing how I did it back then and how technology advances have improved on that same image today using Photoshop and add on plug in software.

Back then I back lighted my subject (would do the same today) and added off camera flash camera left.

Here is an example of how I used my off camera lighting back in my film days. Since the sun is behind my subject I added some fill in flash to add some sparkle to my clients eyes. On top of my flash I added an omnibounce attachment so the light in the eyes would look more natural.
